All K-Line directors have had a long and passionate association with agriculture. Harold Larsen moved to Australia in the early 1900s. He began farming in Billimari, NSW in 1910. His family continued to farm, and K-Line Agriculture was started by Richard Larsen in 1993. Coming from a farming background, the founders could see a niche in the market for a broader, more efficient range of tillage machinery. Their many years of personal experience in the farming industry provide valuable insight into the design of K-Line products.
K-Line’s commitment to strong family values, 100% stakeholder satisfaction and research & design in conjunction with farmers, has led to what we are today – a trusted manufacturer of innovative and reliable machinery.
At the forefront of the global agricultural market, K-Line Agriculture is a market leader with a forward-thinking attitude and great scope for development and expansion. After 23 years of supplying machinery to the agricultural sector as K-Line Industries, we updated the name of the agricultural section of the business to K-Line Agriculture. This is to reflect what we have accomplished in the marketplace to date.
The logo was updated in July 2014 and is intended to reflect K-Line’s growth and global image, by combining all facets of the brand. The ring around the logo is to symbolise the global market. The disc represents agricultural manufacturing. The paddock and rows encompass all things agriculture. And the colours express the original widely renowned K-Line quality, with a fresh new look.
In 2021, K-Line Agriculture received certification and a licence to use the internationally recognised Australian Made logo in its marketing activities, promotional material and on its products. This is in recognition and testimony to the company's original philosophy to design, engineer and manufacture their products right here in Australia. All of K-Line Ag's machinery is proudly made strong, by Australians, for tough Australian conditions.
“As pioneers in Australian agricultural tillage equipment, K-Line Ag has an international reputation for innovation, efficiency and productivity. In 2019 K-Line Ag joined the global leader in agricultural machinery – CNH Industrial.
This is an exciting opportunity for customers, dealers, and both the K-Line Ag and CNHI teams. It will give us a greater opportunity to expand the reach of K-Line Ag products, and continually enable superior engineering and product development of K-Line Ag’s product line-up.
K-Line Ag products will continue to be sold under the K-Line Ag name in Australia and New Zealand through our existing network of Case IH, New Holland and selected independent dealers. In North America, the products will be branded as Case IH for Case IH dealers, while the current K-Line Ag branding will remain the same for all non-Case IH dealers within the US market. Our dealer network is one of our greatest assets and integral to the success of the K-Line Ag business; we are confident that K-Line Ag will go from strength to strength under CNH Industrial’s ownership.
